Description Health Benefits Ingredients

Snow Jasmine is a high-quality green tea infused with Chinese Jasmine blossoms. This tea is a first-flush from Mengding Mountain in the Sichuan province of China. The leaves are reserved until summertime, when the first jasmine buds emerge.

Unlike Jasmine Silver Needle, in this first-flush green tea, the finest buds remain, so that when steeped, the blossoms open and float at the top of the cup, lending to its name “Snow Jasmine”.

This tea is perfect for steeping in a traditional Gaiwuan cup, as it allows you to take in the beauty of the leaves and their aroma.
Steeping Instructions

  • For Hot Tea: Use 1 tsp of leaves for every 8 oz. of 170˚F water. Steep for 1-2 minutes.
  • For Iced Tea: Use 1 tsp of leaves for every 4 oz. of 170˚F water. Steep for 1-2 minutes, pour over an 8 oz. container of ice cubes.
  • For Cold Steeping: Use 1 tsp of leaves for every 8 oz. of cold water. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.

  • *You can re-steep leaves more than 3 times, or to personal preference. Simply set aside used leaves and re-steep within the same day.

This tea is one of my two favorites. The tea re-steeps very well. Be careful not to burn!

So Special October 11, 2017
Reviewer: Sasha from Southington, CT United States
I missed this tea for the time the Green Teahouse didn't have it. It is so great. When you first open the bag, it smells like heaven. Once it's brewed, the smell coming from it while you drink it, and the wonderful green tea flavor are truly memorable. It's expensive, but worth it.

Tasty March 28, 2017

Jasmine is not my favorite tea, but I do like it a couple times a week. There was a little bitterness left over from the intense jasmine taste, but enjoyable.
